Perspective solutions to Perception problems. (say that five times-- fast!)

Perception is personal.
Perception is our thinking and understanding of a situation, and is highly influenced by how a person feels going through the situation.
Most people will not share your exact perception of a situation.
This is why you need to use perspective to your advantage when your goal is to help someone.
Someone who is so stuck on their perception of reality.
Preventing themselves from obtaining their goals.
You can not change a persons perception.
Not by going after their perception.
Instead, put things in perspective for them to see.
Go after their perspective.

A perspective is a filter that guides your analysis of something.
Perspective is the only thing that can provide clarity about what a persons real goals are.
That is ultimately the only way to help someone shift their perception.
By influencing their perspective.
Introducing them to a situation they can visualize themselves in.
Feel themselves in.
Perspective can place a person mentally in a “what if” situation.
This will help them determine where they fundamentally stand on a topic.
It works because it makes them the center of the story.
Perspective then is how you show another person what is in it for them to think a different way.
It has to resonate with their feelings about themselves, not you.
You shouldn't want someone to take your word for something.
That takes all the responsibility off of them, placing it on you, and that is not how you create win-win situations.
Your goal has to be to show the other person a new perspective that they need to adopt for their own best interest.
Once a new perspective is obtained a new perception is obtained.
New Perception= new reality= more productivity= more agreeing= more feeling good= more you being the person who helped them see.
If you have the ability to alter people's perception for their own greater good…
You are irreplaceable.
Imagine how your friends would speak about you if you were able to help them in this way.
Imagine how your clients would speak to their friend if you were able to help them in this way...
Imagine if you were this exceptional individual.
If you can imagine it.
You can be.
